Our Tawari Mountain Honey is the 'Beaujolais' of honey, harvested and extracted from native forest sites in the Raukumara ranges on the East Coast of New Zealand's North Island. 

The ingredient is 100% pure raw New Zealand honey (min 80% Tawari). The honey is a pale-gold colour, with a rich aroma perfumed with musk, incense, and sandalwood. The flavour of this honey is butterscotch. 

Tawari gives you instant natural energy and is known to enhance general health. 

It is used in desserts and with cheeses. Match Tawari honey with poached or roasted fruits such as pears or use to sweeten roasted nuts – walnuts or cashews.
